About this ebook

Calliope Thorne is a good girl. A straight-A student, a rule follower, and an aspiring ballerina.

But most of all, she’s a good sister to her four older brothers.

Brothers whom she loves and adores to pieces. Brothers who love and adore her to pieces in return.

And who hate just one and one thing only–Reed Jackson.

Rich, arrogant, and the most popular guy at Bardstown High, Reed is Callie’s brothers’ enemy and she has sworn to stay away from him.

Until one night when she wanders into the woods and finds herself in his clutches. A villain with pretty gray eyes and a seductive smirk.

Until he asks her to dance for him with a look in those eyes that makes her forget why falling for her brothers’ enemy is a bad idea.

I was very excited to read this prequel to the upcoming A Gorgeous Villain book. I absolutely adored book one of the St. Mary's Rebels series, My Darling Arrow, so I have been eagerly awaiting the next book and this prequel was a most welcome and delightful surprise. I devoured this book as soon as I got my hands on it and I have to say that it left me with a mixed bag of feelings. This read certainly gives you a taste of what's to come and you can tell it is going to be intensely emotional, dramatic, hot and angsty. After reading book one I was already a fan of Callie (and of all the girls!) so that really did not change at all. Going in I was quite intrigued to learn about Reed and find out more details about the past these two shared. Now, after finishing this book I have to admit that I feel a bit shaken. I mean obviously the title gives us a big clue about who Reed is but can I grow to like him anyway? And that right there is a very big question mark for me right now. Am I still ready, willing and eager to read A Gorgeous Villain? You bet I am! But for me personally there is going to need to be a whole lot of work done before Reed is anywhere close to being eligible for a Book Boyfriend Stamp Of Approval from me. On the other hand I think this book completely solidifies the fact that Callie's brothers have got to have their own books.

Oh my gosh! What an amazing introduction was this to Reed and Callie's story. I freaking loved it so much and the ending which was epic left me wanting more. I can't wait for their book. I loved meeting Callie's brother they were so swoon worthy. And of course Roman and his Fae were everything. If you are reading this and haven't read the prequel yet then go and read it NOW!

When I have the time to do it, I almost always write my review for a book right after I finish, but sometimes with certain books, I simply can’t do that and The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy was one of those books. Even though I knew what I wanted to say and how I would say it, I just couldn’t make myself start typing. All I could do was smile, shake my head, and soak in more time with Reed and Callie before it was time to leave them because I knew once I finished my review, I’d no longer have an excuse to think about them and I wasn’t ready for that yet. I swear, it doesn’t matter what the length of a story that Saffron A. Kent writes is, the characters and all that comes with them just gets in your soul and it’s impossible not to feel so connected and invested in them. I can already feel myself getting as obsessed with Callie and Reed as I was with Arrow and Salem — I know the former pair isn’t going to leave my head until I get their full book, though I have no doubts they won’t be gone even after I do get their HEA. The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy. Gosh, this book is just so beautiful and I absolutely loved reading every minute of it, even the hard moments. It left no part of me untouched, I couldn’t get enough and I lowkey, okay maybe highkey, kind of want to cry that I can’t immediately finish their story right now. The struggle is real and you know, I knew I was going to love this, but I’ve been deep into Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series and I thought I’d have no trouble getting back into it when I was done with this prequel, but I don’t know if I’m going to be able to do that! I think I’m going to have to go to one of the books from Ms. Kent that I haven’t read yet so that I can experience one of her couples in all their HEA glory. Anyway, if it wasn’t obvious enough, I flipping loved The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy! It’s definitely the best prequel I’ve ever read, it’s incredible, captivating, and breathtaking. I am beyond excited and can’t wait to read A Gorgeous Villain!
